Björk Previews “Crystalline” Single
Björk took to her official site and social networks earlier today to unveil a promising teaser from her forthcoming multimedia LP, Biophilia: “hi, björk here, it’s time to tell you about the 1st biophilia song: crystalline. it will appear towards end of june!” Above is a 30-second video she shared, featuring a clip of the new tune playing on her car stereo as she drives down the “road to crystalline.”
As the Guardian reports, the LP will be released both as a traditional album and as 10 iPad apps with each track set to its own unique application, such as a song dubbed “Virus” that plays as you interact with a custom video game. Longtime collaborator Michel Gondry is also involved with the project, as previously reported, directing at least one music video.

I love this Pop Artificiel album. Before “Senor Coconut” was such, covering Kraftwerk, he made this amazing cover song opus from Bowie to ABC. Every song’s production is completely as warm and real as the original but electronic.
Young Carol Channing, still has that awesome voice.
